At Sydney Bio Packaging, we are honored to have partnered with RSL NSW to support the ANZAC Day 2025 commemorations in Sydney. In alignment with our commitment to sustainability and community engagement, we produced single-wall disposable paper cups branded with the RSL NSW emblem, ensuring attendees stayed hydrated during the day’s events.
A Sustainable Contribution to a Solemn Occasion
ANZAC Day holds a profound place in the hearts of Australians, marking the 110th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing this year. The day began with a Dawn Service at 4:20 am at the Cenotaph in Martin Place, followed by the ANZAC Day March along Elizabeth Street in the Sydney CBD at 9:00 am.
To support the thousands who gathered to pay their respects, RSL NSW staff strategically placed water stations with the RSL NSW branded disposable paper cups at five key locations along the march route. Our eco-friendly cups not only provided refreshment but also aligned with the day’s spirit of respect and remembrance.
Reflecting on the Day
The commemorations were marked by solemn ceremonies and tributes. Notably, a poignant sunset service was held for the first time at the Sydney Opera House forecourt, attended by veterans and dignitaries. Throughout the day, Australians came together to honour the sacrifices of our servicemen and women, participating in traditional activities and ceremonies.
